Is it possible to make beef bone broth?

I have some bones left from making beefy stew tonight. I am wondering if I can boil them like I do chicken bones and make a beef bone broth? If so, how long?

Thanks!

Sure. Second-boiled bones are used for glace de viande. They will turn to mush eventually, so you don't want to overdo it.

[ETA.--An hour per pound of bone, at a simmer? Just a guess. You'll probably want to strain this.]
