Hi!  Congratulations to everyone!  I think I'm here as well.  I have 2 possible ovulation dates, which makes my due date either November 1 or November 5th.  

I have a 2 year old daughter who also has a November birthday...hers is Nov 20th.  Looks like November is going to be a busy month in our house!  :)

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!

I'm also a late-ish ovulater :) I o anywhere from cd 15 to 20 lol.

I think my due date will be at the very beginning of november. I just called the mid wife today and have an appointment for 2 weeks time!! so exciting!!! :)

well I've been told that it might already be too late to hire HB Midwives- sheesh. Around here you have to call them before you have sex I guess. I had no idea I was pregnant and tested sunday when my period was 5 days late (was in a state of denial there for a few days). one already returned a crazy curt little note "we can't take care of you" and not even saying why! Ah well, obviously not the mW for me!

thanks for the hug. I did get an appointment with another HB practice for next week- and I am just going to forget about that weird one. Obviously not a good fit for me :) I am just so surprised at how fast you have to move! I guess that means there are not enough MWs for the demand here? Or NYC women are just super-organized and on top of it (very likely).

Emma, it could be that particular *practice* just isn't taking Oct/Nov clients (could be a big conference, vacation time, etc). Or they are having business problems or no backup... I doubt they got full up this week,that would be nuts!

I have been wondering when to contact the MW that I love, though. I haven't used her personally before, we went with fully-covered birth center before, but  swore I'd have a hb if we ever had another...

Yay! Congratumalations people.

Emma you are totally scaring me because I don't want to be asking midwives in May and having them all tell me they can't do homebirth for November. I am interviewing some midwives in my area this week just to start getting a sense of how this goes, but I won't know for months still where I'm moving. Could be Tucson, could be Seattle, could be Chapel Hill...

nmouse don't let me scare you. unless you are moving to NYC... we hired our HBMW in San Diego around 20 weeks or so. I don't know if my friends are just being dramatic but a really good IRL friend said when she started contacting people at 8w (in NYC) many were already full. Yikes! And boy they aren't quick about responding (except for the one that I have already scheduled an appointment with).

I got a BFP yesterday!  Baby number 2.  Probably won't tell my family or friends for a few weeks now.  Very excited!  When do y'all plan on telling everyone?

I think Im going to wait until Im 6 or 7 weeks pregnant before telling my closest family. If Im still pregnant in 2 weeks Im just not going to be able to contain my excitement from everyone!

I'm joining the November due date club! Got my official BFP this morning with the easy to decipher digital EPT test. Hard to deny the word "PREGNANT"! I had a bunch of cheap-o ones from the internet and kept seeing a faint + line but thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I'm 14 DPO but starting seeing a faint line at 12 DPO. My husband and I have been ttc for over a year now. I'm 37 and hubby is 36. We have a 14 year old son and we haven't told him yet...y'all are the first! I was sworn to secrecy! My calculations put my due date at 11/08. Go to the OB on the 17th for lab work and she is going to see if we can see the heartbeat! I am over the moon! Thanks for having this forum, it's so nice to have others to go through this with. Here's to sticky baby dust and healthy pregnancies.
