One of my friends sent me a link that some Safety 1st seats are recalled due to a strap slippage issue. But the link she sent only included a rather long list of model numbers. Does anyone know if the Complete Air is part of the recall? Is there any way to know the model number without uninstalling the seat? Since I registered my seat when I bought it, will they contact me personally if my seat is part of the recall? Thanks for any info! It literally took me hours to get my seats installed solidly, so I want to avoid pulling them out to check the model if I can in anyway avoid it.
Apparently recalled seats just need some lubricant (which they will send you) applied to one of the buckles or adjusters. So it is not a huge issue, but it is worrying me.
