thinking about homeschooling my 12 year old

Thread Starter

I am seriouisly considering homeschooling my son who is 12 and in 6th grade and failing miserably along with getting ticked for truancy bursting out in class etc...and is on probation.  He'a a great guy and he has been through alot of upheaval.  I have my associat's degree in spec ed and two years online toward a spec ed/elem ed but due to circumstances beyond my control had to stop

I am wondering if there are families that work together as I am a little nervous about taking this on alone.  He's my son so sometimes it is hard to get him going.  I would greatly appreciate any input, advice, etc... I have to do something and I am going to see about target range but am on ssi  and not sure if he could get in this year.  I am watching him fall deeper and deeper into a hole and with support i am sure i could homeschool him.  so any input would be awesome how i go about starting///
