 I am trying to get ahead with a few things to make the coming week a little easier.

 

Yesterday I baked cookies (14 y.o. ds made short work of those yummy.gif ) and hummus to last for a few days. Tonight I am making lasagna, bread, salad dressinng and some more cookies. Tomorrow I will make some broth for the freezer to make soups during the week and probably some muffins for breakfasts.

 

Maybe it is because I have teenagers in the house but it seems like I can't cook fast enough to keep up with everyone around here! My kids cook too and that does help.

 

Does anyone else try to get ahead on the weekends to make cooking healthy meals through the week a little easier?
