A friend of mine is trying to find information on this condition since her DD was diagnosed with it. The doctor didn't have a lot of tangible thoughts on it, other than that it could be a cyst, a tumor or nothing at all.Â

Does anyone here know how common this is for a child of two years old? I read that the thymus continues to grow until puberty. So I'm wondering if this is a common condition at this age.

The little girl has had pneumonia, which is why she got an x-ray in the first place. How many other kids have this condition but don't know it just because they aren't x-rayed?

I guess I'm just wondering how much worry there should be in this stuation or if it's just a "wait and see" sort of thing.
