Belated announcement: Thomas Jozef is here!!

Hi ladies! My baby arrived on Valentine's Day after 6.5 hours of active labor which included 4 hours of pushing and ended with a home birth transfer and forceps delivery. He was 8lb 1oz, 20 inches, and the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. We only had to stay in the hospital a total of 20 hours. TJ is nursing and doing quite well. Please pray for speedy healing of my 4th degree tear as well as my acceptance of his delivery which did not go at all as I'd hoped. Obviously we are just thrilled that he is healthy and are completely in love with him!!

Thanks to all. Yes, I definitely need to process how I feel about his birth separately from how happy I am to have him healthy and in my arms. When I get a chance, I will probably post my birth story in the healing birth trauma thread.
