21 pounds at 30 weeks!   Seems about right, but wouldn't mind if I gained less than a pound for the next 10-ish.   We'll see what the baby thinks about that eat.gif

I was holding steady, maybe fluctuating a pound or two... then all of a sudden, this month I gained 5 lbs!

Must be the time.  I've been the same weight for months.  Suddenly...up 3 lbs this month.  But considering how much baby girl has been working out this month, she must be packing on the muscle!

Crystal- I've gained similarly.  #1 was 66 lbs, #2 was 59 lbs, #3 was 35 lbs (I was really careful), #4 was 35 lbs (because I was already overweight).  I'm up to 48 lbs now at 26 weeks (I think, I'm having a heck of a time keeping track of the gestational age).  I think I may start to slow down now, but maybe that's just wishful thinking.  LOL.  I'm not as hungry as I was before.  I get full really fast and I've been drinking a couple liters of water a day.  Here's hoping!

The last time I checked, I was a couple pounds over weeks, so at 24 weeks I think I was 26 lbs.  I finally had to have my husband put the 2 scales that are in our house in his trunk so I couldn't have access.  I'm finished.  I'll ask for my monthly weight gain at the Dr's appts but that's it.  I already feel more free!!!

Had my 28 week appt today (28w 2d) and I was up 17, so I gained 4.5 lbs this month. I'm hoping this was my "big" month and I will stick with the 3lbs or so per month that I had been doing. I still think I'm on a good track, but I just worry about having a lot harder time losing the weight now that I'm 40, along with having 3 kids now. But baby is doing well, other than being posterior (time to start looking at spinning babies!!) enough so that even though the birth center usually starts doing apts every 2 weeks at this point in the pregnancy, they have told me I can wait 4, since I am so boring (my words-not theirs!! It's good to be boring-you never want your doctor to come in saying "well.......THIS is interesting!!!" )

I just had my 28 week appointment, and I'm holding strong at 2lbs over my pre-pregnancy weight. I am normally rather heavy (heavier than one would suspect for my clothing size, 16 at 5'6"), and had gained a little right before the pregnancy, but I'm surprised I haven't gained over the last 28 weeks. My OB seems happy that I haven't gained, and I'm measuring on time (or maybe 2cm big), and baby is very active. I can also see that my face is slimmer, as well as (possibly) my limbs. I'm not swelling, and my bloating has gone down. Any thoughts on this? Is it ok not to gain? On the one hand, I'm pretty happy about it, on the other, vaguely concerned.

I sure hope so because I haven't gained that much weight either. I've gained a total of 14 lbs and I'm 27w. But my doctor doesn't seem concerned and the baby moves a lot. shrug.gif

Hmm, don't know. I do know that my OB advised me to gain 10-20 lbs. 2 seems low to me, but I'll just hope it's coming off somewhere else...

as long as you measure ok its fine your just losing weight from other areas and gaining it where you need it for the baby

Well, that sounds good to me! I am actually measuring ahead about two weeks.
