That's what I was getting with the glutathione and stuff, huh?  It's an amazing feeling.  Incredible.  Can't wait for it to come back to stay!

yes, the plan is to get you back there to stay.  not that every day will be sunshine and roses....but 5 out of 7?  we'll take it.

At this point I'd take 3 out of 7.

So if anyone doesn't want to follow PB's advice and just do it all at once (take megadose probiotic and clay without ramping up), I just tried that. Not such a great result. I took 2 AbX Support in the morning, 1 Tbs. clay (the liquid), then the same at night. Diarrhea and bloating for 3 days. So, now let's try PB's method.... (see I'm helping you out here throwing in some variables).

oooooo, sorry there friend.  yeah-because the clay has it's own action aside from just binding it's really a good idea (as with most things) to start slow.  I am well aware that most of us just want to jump in with both feet and get it done.  the problem is that that doesn't give us a chance to read our body's signals and respond.  I hope you feel better!

so, probiotics with every meal?  (or between meals?) or just once per day?

what about clay?  once a day?  with meals?  or smattered throughout the day?

Oh poor kathy! I hope you feel better. I just shutter at what you did as I started with just one teaspoon of clay in the morning and I had a huge horrible detox (good thing it only lasted a few days, and only one day really bad.)

Take it sloooooow!

I'd say do NOT start them together.  When you do the probiotics they can be just once per day.

with clay I think it's more about the individual.  If you have food issues perhaps it's better to take it with food.  I'm watching people's responses and many do great with it in the morning and an equal amount feel best with it spread throughout the day.  What I'm starting to see is that people who react to food (or have babies that do) do better spreading it out and taking it with meals.  Again, not definitive, it's just a wee little start of a pattern that may or may not emerge more fully with additional people.

Another pattern (which is only based on about 6 people-so take it for what it's worth) is that while calcium bentonite does tend to do a more thorough job and be super efficient (more desirable for healing) when taking it in higher amounts (more than a tsp a day-though some are more sensitive) are noticing that they have MORE of a detox reaction initially and feel better faster.  So, what we may see is people who react strongly to CB may want to try SB instead.  I'd still say CB is what most everyone wants, but there's another option for those who need to go slower *if this is true.*  I'll continue to report what I'm seeing, but again...I'd love to see more information from everyone here too.

I think it's legit to start with a tsp first thing and as you add more, do so at different times.  So a tsp in the am and a tsp at night.  then a tsp morning noon and night when it's okay to go up again.

An update on me.  I'm sad to report a new development that has been confirmed.  I'm no longer able to handle magnesium.  Boo.  This is an improvement and exactly what you'd want to see (body is utilizing nutrients better) but I'm sad.  That's like my vice.  I stood in my kitchen like an addict last night holding the container for ten minutes trying to talk myself out of taking it.  Well, ultimately I did take a tsp and I paid for me.  Someone's going to have to remove it or hide it on me.  I'm so very sad.  I love that NC.  It's been my unwinding protocol for years and years and years.  It's like an old friend.  I've posted before that I don't take mag phos cell salts because it reduces my need for it.  Sigh.  Healing is good.  I'll just have to find a a new love.

um mmmm...congratulations??

It's really great news. How long have you been doing this protocal?

I've been doing the clay for a long time.  I think everyone on MDC knows about my love affair with it...but I just stepped it up and massively increased dosages maybe 2 months ago?  And that's really what did it.  So sad.  LOL.

Subbing for now. smile.gif

So how did you know that you had to break up with mag?  What was your conflict?

And congrats!

bowel tolerance which was once at 4tsp (so I took it daily at 3t. to avoid issues) started happening at 3, then 2, then 1.  Just can't do it anymore and since it was a steady downward trajectory with a few weeks at each point after years and years at 3t. with no issues ever.....it's pretty clearly the clay.  brokenheart.gif gloomy.gif lol.gif

wanna know how bad it is?  I'm having it now.  I'm not kidding.  something needs to save me from myself.  I had to make sure that dh could drive the kids to school in the am first.  wild.gif  I need another comforting hot beverage and fast.

Hugs!

I'm not sure I understand the potential of magnesium. It sounds like a good thing you can no longer tolerate it? But you are missing it for some reason?

As for clay, will this help someone who has been told she is full of toxins? Even if those toxins were not clearly defined? (Me, btw...LOL)

I'm a freak.  I've been drinking naturalcalm every single night for over 8 years.  I just love it. It's delicious-slightly sweet and lemony, it's soothing, it's my "treat" after the kids go to bed.  I just need a new treat is all!  And yes...it's good that I no longer need it.

that's the idea.  how fast it works is the variable, but most notice a benefit within a week.  it's amazing stuff.

Ah, that makes more sense now. hug2.gif

Does one NEED to take probiotics along with clay?

PB, so sorry about the NC. I wish I could take 1 tsp. 1/2 tsp and my bowels are softtt. Perhaps you are absorbing the mag in the clay?

If you need a different drink, then you would love the new coffee like (but not really) sub that dh has been making. It is with home collected chaga mushrooms. He just grinds it up and steeps it for a few minutes in hot water, sweeten or add a little almond milk and wow it is earthy but sweet and heavenly. Plus with chaga he may live forever now - the elixir or longevity!

either it's a cation exchange or my body is utilizing mag from foods more efficiently.  either way it's a good thing.  I'm just being a brat.

sounds lovely!  I know I'll figure something out....I'm just whiny in the meantime.  lol.
