iPhone apps for nutritional monitoring/calorie counting and fitness

Thread Starter

I'm looking for some recommendations for iPhone apps.

I would like something like fitday or spark people, that counts calories *and* monitors nutritional intake (like your vits and minerals, etc).

I'm also interested in what apps you all use to monitor your exercise.  I've been running a bit, and I do yoga and a weight lifting class, with some walking and exercise biking thrown in.  Does Nike + work well for you (even if you don't have a chip in your shoe...)?

I'm a newbie to the iphone/apps thing, if you can't tell.  Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Is there a reason you don't want the free Spark People app?

For tracking my runs/walks i use imapmy. It is nice. I just turn it on when i leave my house and stick it in a pocket and when i get home it tracks how far i went and how long it was. You don't need a chip or anything.

For nutrition tracking, I use the sparkpeople app. I think it connects with your online profile but I'm not sure, i just use it on my phone.

I use MyNetDiary and love it! It's very comprehensive and simple to use.

I use Lose It on my iphone.  Basic calorie tracking but you can do some nutritional, I am not sure how much because I never use that part of the program.  It also allows you to put in exercise and calories burned.  I find it very handy and simple to use.
