Changing Educational Paradigms

Not sure if everyone's seen this already (it's kind of been around awhile), but here Sir Kenneth Robinson talks about Changing Educational Paradigms. There are also two TEDTalks of his work that I find fascinating (and funny!). It's nice to see educational researchers really leaning towards these ideas.

I love his talk on Do Schools Kill Creativity. What other talk(s) does he have? I guess I'll have to google to find out right now. (lol)  By the way, I love your photo. I need something like that.

ETA: I just saw the video on your post. Hadn't seen it initially. Anyway, I watched it. He is so good. I loved the genius at divergent thinking. I will share this link with our local unschooling group.

Thanks.

Yeah, I guess the embedding is sort of weird here. I'd never used it before. Let's see if this works...

This first one is the Do schools kill creativity? TEDTalk.

This is the follow-up to that one, which is about education revolution. Also a TEDTalk...

And yeah, I loved the bit about divergent thinking. I've been using that term now! And thanks about my photo!

I read his book, "The Element." My favorite idea in the book is, "The question is not, 'How intelligent are you?' but rather, 'How are you intelligent?"

I've seen the last two videos you posted. This thread inspired me to look around a bit. Here's one where he defines creativity. I hope I can get it embedded as you did. If I can't, I'll at least include the link. (Cool, I figured it out.)
