Is it my imagination or is this an extra-rough flu season in Phila area?

My ds2 is in preschool 5 days a week and since the middle of January has gotten sick 4 times...I'm pulling my hair out!

Is it his first time i preschool or daycare?  That first year is usually the worst in my experience.

I think that's very common for kids starting out in school -- my moms friend has two daughters and they have been sick every other week with something or the other.

Actually it's his second year in school. He went 5 days a week last year and really wasn't sick at all.
