My heart goes out to this mother.I have only ever heard about this happening, I have never read a first hand account.  I hope this mother is able to get legal representation, and work through this traumatic experience.

That is just awful!!!! I hope she is able bond with her LO. I also hope that this issue becomes publicized so that doctors will know that they cannot continue to get away with illegal actions!!!  The guilty parties need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. irked.gif

OMG - I just read through a few of her other posts...

I know exactly who she was using, and I hate to say it, I had problems with them through 2 pregnancies, and left their practice.  They are the only OB/Midwife group who practices at that hospital.

In tears...my heart breaks for her. I hope she can find legal representation to stick it to that crap lousy practice. Just wow...

Oh my gosh. I can't even believe something like that could happen to somebody. I feel so terrible for her.

I replied directly to the thread (after several attempts at my password for that site -- it's been awhile since I've been on it).

What bothered (bothers?) me most about my c/s was the feeling of being totally out of control of the situation. Her story is that magnified times a million.

I sincerely hope that she is able to take legal action -- and that the "fear of lawsuit" might start to make doctors think twice about performing unnecessarians instead of the opposite trend.

I can't even imagine what she is going through.
