Give Franklin the cat some legs!

Any cat/animal lovers out there who would like to help a very sweet cat live a better life? My friend has started a Facebook page for her kitty, Franklin, if anyone would care to donate. Every drop in the bucket counts!

This is what she wrote for the page description:

"Franklin was rescued from a Craig's List ad whose author said that they needed to find a home for a little kitten that the shelter would put to sleep because he was "unadoptable." Franklin has severe deformities of both his hind legs called Angular Leg Deformity. He cannot walk like a normal cat, but instead drags his hind end with his front legs. Although he is semi-mobile, no one is sure how long his body can sustain that sort of wear and tear, especially at an older age. With surgery from Tufts Veterinary Hospital to correct at least one leg, Franklin may be able to have a great deal more mobility and a better quality of life overall. He might become a tripod! The vet estimates the cost of the surgery and care to be between $3,500-5,000. Ouch, I know! Please consider making a donation to a very sweet, silly and lovable kitty! All donations will be used solely for the purpose of surgery and vet care. Anything will help Frankie reach his goal of getting some working legs!"

Donated a bit. Really hope she raises enough money. We have a soft spot for rescue kitties, especially black ones, in this house :)
