is there an easy way to get to your profile? i can't find it.

i also am bummed about being able to see when someone last visited. it's a quick way for me to check and see if peeps that i know have been around at all lately.

can i ask if the board was switched to the new format to increase the amount of ad revenue? because i see so many more ads now...

See "My Profile" in the top navigation bar? Just click that.

Our previous ad revenue approach was not really working well. So definitely one of the reasons we have made changes have been to improve things in that regard. But overall we have fewer ads running and they are not all over the place like they were before.

i don't have that top navigation bar? maybe it's because i'm running no script and ad block on firefox?

and yes, sometimes if i see that someone i "know" hasn't posted in a while (usually if they have had a pending birth that may not be going as planned) i like to be able to see if they've at least logged in. then i know that they are okay enough to check in, but i don't have to bother them with an e-mail.

thank you for answering my question about the ads. i guess it just seems more product focused than before. ah well, things are always changing right?

I'm not sure what effect running no script and ad block would have. But I'm guessing our tech support would say that they can't adjust the site to work around third party software that blocks our alters browser rendering of certain elements of a site.

that must be it. when i use explorer it's right there, but it takes a LOT longer to load. i guess i'll use explorer when i need to access that part, and firefox for regular browsing.
