no more credit card debt!

I would just like to say that we have no more credit card debt, or extra bank loans.  Its all paid off.  All we have now are the van, the house and student loans.  oh, and we totally have money in our savings account and we can get our van fixed out of it and still have money left.  I'm way excited.  And just in time for new baby.  Soooooooooo, no more worries on the money end!!  Yea!!!  Unless something bad comes up, which would really suck.  Im really excited about this but its not really something that I can run around shouting to everybody you know? So I thought I'd be safe here.

Yay!  We paid ours off last spring and through a series of car repairs blew through our EF and charged up about $2000 right before christmas.  We were able to pay off the last $1500 with our tax return.  NEVER AGAIN!  It's so good to have that no cc debt feeling again!

So exciting! I just paid mine off last month. I'm still kind of in shock about the whole thing. It's a great feeling though! I know what you mean about not being able to tell everyone. I know all my family/friends would think that means I have lots of money and want me to start spending with them again ...lol.

We paid off a rather embarrassing amount in debt last year and it's such a wonderful, free feeling!  At the moment, we have NO debt other than a mortgage on a rental property.

But yeah... we totally can't go shouting it from the rooftops that we're in good shape!  :O  CONGRATS!!!
