With my first, the day I went into my doctor's appt for my 37w checkup is the day I ended up going in to labor.  At that appt when they did my vitals my BP was slightly elevated and I had begun to dump a small amt of protein in my urine. 

 

My question is if that is "normal" before labor.

 

Also, my midwife doesn't do a urine check.  So, if I do dump a bit of protein before labor, how can I check or should I even worry about it?
