There are many ways to interpret numbers. You can start at some point in time, when they work for you, to say "see?" They also can be misleading with what they do and do not include.

Yes, again, I would recommend the book by Darryl Huff, How to Lie With Statistics.  There is even an example of using the polio vaccine in a community in that book.

I know this site is one sided, however, think about what this Supreme Court Decision means for the American family with small children who are trying to do their very best to follow the rules, but make sure their children are healthy and grow up to be productive adults.  They are between a rock and a hard place.

Remember, when your child has a vaccine reaction, the odds were 100% against him/her, and the parents live with the consequences, not the doctor, courts, lawyers, or drug companies.
