question. DS is 23 months. We've had a potty (actually several floor ones and a ring for the big potty) since he was just over a year. He LOVES sitting on the potty, getting on, getting off, watches kids his age use the potty, helps mama go potty (oh joy!) and we've been relaxed with the entire process. He's cloth diaped 95% of the time and also has been using big boy pull up type cloth diaps that are also just cloth diaps. He will come up to me and tell me when he's peed or popoed. He gets lots of nakie time but when he has to go hasn't associated getting to his potty (which migrates around the house where he is) and has an accident, then he comes to me saying "mess" and then he helps me clean it up.Â
How can I get him over to the next stage of potty learning of actually going in the potty? We've only successfully caught maybe 1 or 2 pees as of yet because he wanders off :-). I don't want him or myself to get stressed out over if but I'm also not sure if there's something else I can do to help him get to the stage of actually making on the potty itself? Any ideas or should I just keep doing what I'm doing and he'll eventually get there?
TIA!
