I'm new to the mothering community, but I've been reading the magazine since my first child was born five years ago.  I'm not very tech-savvy and I'm hardly ever online, so I never considered joining the online thing here before.  However, I just relocated to a new state (againÂ
for hubby's work) and I'm feeling particularly . . . isolated, I guess . . . with no friends or neighbors to chat with anymore about parenting and life in general.  The past month has been really challenging - this move has been hard for me because I've left a place I truly loved where I felt accepted.  And I'm not getting the same vibes here in the Heartland.  Really hoping to find some support . . . and hear about others with similar "mothering" experiences.  I have two little guys who mean the world to me, and I treasure every moment I spend with them.  I'm finding it's just harder without adult connections.  Anyway, I just love mothering magazine and find that I'm closer to being the mom I hope to be because of it, so I really have high expectations for being part of the online community as wellÂ
. Â Hope my lack of computer skills doesn't stand in the way! Â I really look forward to meeting everyone here, and I'm excited about where this will take me!

Welcome to Mothering!
