Amazing Race 18

Anyone else planning on following this show.  I always love to watch, if only to see the beautiful countries.

Who are you glad to have bad and who do you wish would have stayed away?

I really feel sorry for the cowboys they are so clueless most of the time and this season seems worse for them then their last one.  I really enjoy watching Margie and Luke, but I think she helps other teams too much and that is going to be her downfall.

i too enjoy this show.

i disagree that the cowboys are often clueless; they certainly seem to be one the first episode but they were very strong on their season.  their only downfall was themselves.  i hope they can pull it together in time.

i seem to remember not caring for the cheerleader girls or the two sisters but i'm willing to give them another chance.

I'm a huge AR fan!  I'll need an episode or two more before I fully remember everyone and get a feel for them, but I'm so glad to see Margie and Luke and the beauty queen and her dad back!

The cowboys did do pretty good during their season eventually, I just remember there being at least a few times where my DH and I both had to just shake our heads at some things they did. For example the time they exchanged there money before they got to whichever South American country it was there were going to and they couldn't exchange it for the right country so they decide to exchange it for the money of a country near where they were going and they thought that would be close enough.  In some ways I am willing to blame those types of mistakes on how poorly most schools educate their students.

The cowboys were really great for most all of their season. I remember them coming in first a lot. They just made a few big mistakes.
I'm also glad to see the globetrotters back. They have the best energy! thumb.gif

Thought I had joined this thread already but I guess not!  Happy to have AR back.  Enjoyed the first show, but I didn't like how half the teams just told each other the answer on that flag puzzle challenge.

Agreed!  I don't mind a little helping here and there, but I'd much rather see teams succeed or fail on their own merits.  Too much alliance talk and it will become Survivor!

I love this show!

I wish they would have shown the Globetrotters explanation for the fanny pack. I have always liked them, but that was a pretty lousy thing to do to another team. nono.gif

I am really glad that Phil saw that what they did was wrong to and at least gave them the penalty. I am just afraid that this is going to make the Globetrotters mad and now they are going to find a way to get back at Ron and Christina for telling on them.  Time will tell.

I also hope that maybe we will hear more about what the Globetrotters were thinking in the next episode.
