* How long it took to you to get your BFP: First test on day I was supposed to start menstruating
* What number child is this for you: 1
* Family (partner, other children, and/or furbabies): Partner and 2 furbabies (a dog and cat)
* Baby's gender (hopes or guesses): Boy?  I would like a boy but I guess the correct response is "as long as it's healthy!"
* Birth plans/preferences: Midwife at hospital birthing center.  If my landlords didn't live above my tiny apartment I would definitely strive for a homebirth...maybe next time?!
* Anything else you'd like to share:  Just enjoying reading other's stories and hope to use this forum as a way to ease any anxiety or for potential advice regarding the many issues that come up with pregnancy, birth and child rearing.  Congrats to all, especially those of us expecting in November!

Nicki, due approx 11/28-ish.  I'm 31, I'll be 32 at the birth.  Very tentatively joining here, I was in the May 2011 club until my second early loss last October. This will be my first child (although our first foster child may arrive first, hard to say).  3 furbabbies and a husband who all have their paws crossed for me.  =)

Take me off the list. I am supposed to be 11 weeks 3 days and today I found out that there is not a heartbeat.  Baby only measured 8 weeks.  Best of luck to you all in your pregnancies.

* Birth plans/preferences: Midwife in a hospital. Last birth was in a birth center, but I had to be transferred to a hospital post-delivery, so opting to be in a hospital to start with.

* Anything else you'd like to share:  How did I miss this post? Have my first midwife appointment tomorrow, so fingers crossed it all goes well.

* Baby's gender (hopes or guesses): girl girl girl! I will be fine with either, but partner will be disappointed if it isn't a girl
