3 mo- upset tummy from abx

My 3 month old has been put on amoxicillin because of RSV and an ear infection.. The abx are tearing his poor tummy up. :( He has had a ton of diahrrea (and now a lovely diaper rash) and gas pains.. He was up crying from 4:30-5:00 this morning because of his tummy hurting. He is already taking probiotics, is there anything else I can do? He still has 5 more days left on the abx.. I am about to just stop giving them to him. :(

Monostat or canestin cream for the diaper rash helps I find - those yeasty rashes are nasty.

 

And then probiotics in between antibiotic doses, and more after they are done. It's awful, I know! hug2.gif

talked with the doc, theyre going to switch him to a gentler, shorter abx.. :)
