does Provera raise BBT?

I had a failed round of Clomid, so my RE prescribed Provera to bring on a cycle.  Well, I am temping and I noticed that my temps are up, like maybe I ovulated after the sonogram?  Can Provera raise BBT and show a bi-phasic chart when in reality you didn't actually ovulate?

Yes. It works on your body the same way naturally-released progesterone will. My charts when taking both Prometrium and Provera both made it look like I ovulated. I thought I might have seen some fertile signs right before I started the Provera, so I got all psyched up thinking I might be pregnant, only to get a BFN 12 days later. My temp did stay up for about 5 days after finishing the Provera, too.
