It has a very long shelf life.....especially the organic. But of course I wouldn't know how long since we go through ours so fast! I use it for everything, not just cooking. It's a moisturizer and deordorant for the entire family and I use it as a deep conditioner for my hair, etc. It works so good on dry, damaged, hair.

Just wanted to say thank you!!  I called this company last week and verified that it was safe for my son's allergies, and I swear I just spent that much for ONE jar at the grocery store!

We have allergies too and doesn't effect them at all. We couldn't live without our coconut oil. lol We use it for everything!
