I've been reading through the forum and there is so much information.  My background is I had PPD with both my kids and was on prozac for a few years.  I went off the prozac, and have been managing well with Vitamin D supplements.  But now I am really struggling to the point that I would consider medication.  I would like to try other supplements. I just started some magnesium and B12? because I heard or read they could be helpful, oh and also an omega-3.

 

The biggest reason I want to go natural, besides that being what I prefer, is that when I went off the prozac both my husband and I both noticed how much the meds had dulled both my ups as well as my downs. While I was much more even-tempered, I didn't have really happy moments as much as I didnt have really depressed instances either.  I want to avoid that 'deadening' feeling.

 

What do you take and in what doses?  Does it have the 'deadening' of all emotions effect?
