Hello, My DS has been referred to an Immunologist. He has Nodular Lymphoid Hyperplasia if the small bowel. It was discovered after his colonscopy last week, as he has recurring intussceptions following respiratory viral illnesses. In my research hypoimmunoglobulinemia is suggested. What can we expect from this appointment? Any info or insight on Nodular Lymphoid Hyperplasia or hypoimmunoglobulinemia. Thanks

Well, I guess to sum up my previous post, the most important info I am seeking is what to expect from an Immunologist. Anyone ever seen one?

Have you also asked in Special Needs parenting? There may be more folks with experience there.
