My 14 month old had an accident with a plate about 2 weeks ago. He recently had stitches taken out and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to minimize scaring? The doctor said he'll have a scar but I"m curious if I can make it less noticeable?

Minimize chance of scar?
I have no idea if this product I just "discovered" is baby safe so I would 100% ask a doctor or three before trying it- but regarding scars- I just found online a product called scar away- which is silicone strips- anyway, on amazon it got great reviews. They make one for c section scars (which I have) so I ordered one o maybe try. I haven't tried it yet or opened the box but google scar away if you are interested or amazon scar away
My son scalped himself when he was 6 in a bike accident after already having had 4 sets of previous stitches. We used Mederma. I kept it in my pocket and any time that I thought about it I would put some on. I wasn't sure if it was the Mederma or the massage but at 14, most people don't notice it and it takes up half his forhead and his eye. He also wore a hat for the better part of ten years to keep absolutely all sun exposure off of it.
