Thanks for that. They are beautiful photos, agreed, but most of the appeal for me is that it's clean and tidy. The majority of the decor doesn't do much for me, although there are a few pieces I'd love to have.

What's with the books stacked on top of each other? That drives me crazy!!

I like how organized and tidy she has everything, too. But she has too much stuff for my taste. I look at some of those pictures and think about how hard it would be to dust around all that stuff!

we do that sometimes because we have a ton of books and it is totally *impractical* with children.  They take one book off the shelf and *THEY ALL* fall down.  Makes a huge crazy mess and is confusing to the child.

I know, it looks so cluttered. The decor seemed (to me) visually cluttered, too. I loved that blue and white sofa though!

I just like how artistic everything looks.  Somehow I can never get my house to look like that....I wish I had an eye for interior design.

I agree. It does look visually cluttered. Glad I'm not the only one who was thinking that.

I liked the style.  I think that is a house in my town...I noticed a bag that has the name of a local business.  After looking at all the pictures, it totally fits with "Ithaca" style.  :)
