DH went to apply for financing on a car today (large down payment- well over 50% of the price- our choice, we don't want negative equity, but we do need a reliable car) and, though he was approved, they also approved him for far more. Â Pulling the credit, it was excellent! We hadn't checked in a bit, and last we checked it was ok, but not great. Â

That's a really big deal, and it makes if feasible for us to look at homeownership in a couple years. Â Again, we really want a good down payment saved first. Â
