I've been lurking for a few weeks but I thought it time to say hi. I'm a crunchy vegan type from AZ who is expecting her first in June. I'd been scouring forums and asking for advice on things but having little luck finding like-minded people. I actually found MDC when another forum I frequented had a post from someone who'd tried MDC but she was complaining that everyone here was too anti-interventionist with regards to pregnancy. I read her post and was like, sounds like the place for me! It was like finding home.
I have been posting to other forums asking for recommendations for a crunchy friendly, vax-flexible pediatrician and have gotten nothing but unhelpful responses or people calling me a nut.
A couple of days of perusing the local tribe forum on MDC for my area and I think I finally have some options!
Anyway, thank you all for being here, if for no other reason than to make me feel a little less like the only sane person in the asylum. Well... Mostly sane.
