IN- Monday morning in Bloomington with a 2 1/2 year old

I'm going to have from about 9:30am to 1:30pm in Btown tomorrow, what should we do?

I'll be packing our rain coats and boots and her umbrella so we can definitely wander around, but I while dd'd be fine over the long haul (cause she'll ask to be carried), I know I'll want a break some place non-drippy (because she'll want to be carried).

I wish I'd seen this earlier! I lived in Bloomington for two years. I would suggest walking around campus if the weather cooperated-there is a stream and pond and other things just generally interesting to little kids and plenty of places to eat in the Indiana U. Union. There is also a hands on museum there but I'm not sure it's open mornings. What did you end up doing?

We ended up visiting dh's work, eating breakfast, eating lunch, and heading home because his meeting was canceled.

It was waaaay too cold for the clothes I brought. I packed a raincoat, but not a sweater.
