anyone toddler also love magazines

My dd loves magazines for the past couple of months. She will be 21 months next week so she really can't do the activities for most kids magazines. I was thinking about national geographic little kids. Has anyone subsribed to this? Also highlights I loved them as a kid. Right now she will sit for almost an hour with some catalogs and magazines. These are stuff I get in the mail. I have to beg her to let me actually sit and look at it. I try when she is not around.

Check out Ladybug magazine- its put out by cricketmag.com - it has no advertisements and actually has a lot of good stuff to read for young children- they make the best kids magazines I've seen.  National Geographic Kids would be too mature for her- it has a workbook style for a school age child, and their Little Kids version is mostly pictures without much to actually read- great for some kids, but if you have one that wants more to read, I'd skip it.  Highlights makes a younger kids magazine called "High 5"that is pretty good that my 3 year old recently recieved as a gift- we like it, but I still like Ladybug better.

When I was a kid I had subscription to Cricket Magazine and Highlights and really liked them.

Oh- looking at your dd's age- I probably should have suggested Babybug instead of Ladybug- though both are great!  I think the website has samples of each.

They both look good. I have a spider from my nephews.  I went with the high five highlights for now.  I'm sure I will be ordering others :) the ladybug does look good. Thanks so much! :)
