March Meal Plans

Thread Starter

Tomorrow starts a new month and we are getting closer to SPRING! (well, here anyway) so I thought I'd start our next thread.  Come on, ladies, what culinary treats await your families for the coming days, weeks, or month?

March
Mon. Tues. Wed. Thur. Fri. Sat. Sun.
Veggie Burgers, Baked Sweet Potato Fries Spinach Lasagna Pizza potluck game night Buffalo Chicken Wings, Fries, Salad Salmon Salad Sandwiches
Italian Chicken Wraps Spanikopita & Greek Salad Crispy Fish Tacos Make Ahead French Toast Casserole Spaghetti & Meatballs Omelet, Home Fries Salmon Salad Sandwiches
Chicken Tortellini Soup Spinach, Cheddar & Mushroom Quesadillas & Sweet Potato Black Bean Soup Pesto Stuffed Shells Corned Beef, Colcannon, Soda Bread Chili & Matzo Chicken Stir Fry Salmon Salad Sandwiches
Yeast Raised Waffles, Sausage Chicken Enchiladas Fried Fish Sandwiches Chicken Caesar Salad Sarah's Cabbage Soup Southwestern Egg Rolls Salmon Salad Sandwiches
Potato Soup Chicken Curry over Rice Slumgullion Taco Salad

Lord willing, we will finally have a month of HEALTH and I'll have the opportunity to post the recipes on my blog.

Hmm, just noticed that by just copying the above from my blog the Sundays all get cut off.   I have no idea how to reformat it, and since Sundays are nearly always Salmon Salad Sandwiches it is easier to just state that down here than fiddle with the above.  Sunday's are kind of a back up day, if we don't go to one of our parents' homes for dinner after church, or have any leftovers we need to work on, then I make Salmon Salad Sandwiches.

Here is some new stuff I want to try this month:

Tuna cheese melts

Broccoli manicotti

Chicken tortilla soup

Black bean enchiladas with jalepenos

Then I will make our usual stuff

Navy bean veggie soup

Chicken enchiladas

Chicken broccoli alfredo

Spaghetti

Pancake night

Pasta and peas casserole

Beef tacos

Turkey burgers

I work evenings so my mom feeds DD supper a lot, so I don't meal plan as much.  A lot of times I take leftovers for my supper at work, and cook on my evenings off.

Sage - I am just trying to start using the crockpot more, esp for bean soups.  I'd love to have your recipes for white bean soup, black bean soup, chili soup if you're willing to share!

Here's my plan for this week:

Saturday- meat sauce over pasta (for dh and dd) and rice (for ds and I)

Sunday- roast chicken, rice, veggies

Monday- tacos

Tuesday- crustless spinach and cheese quiche

Wednesday- kielbasa, rice, veggie

Thursday- home made pizza; grain free version for ds

Friday- stuffed tomato/tuna sandwich for dh

It's only Monday, but the plan has already gone off kilter.  Saturday I ended up going out with friends so dh just made pasta for everyone (ds is grain free (except rice) and ended up with his gluten free pasta vs. the rice.)  Sunday I forgot to pull the chicken out, so ended up pulling some chicken breast and stir frying it with some sweet and sour sauce.  Tonight we were invited to my SIL's house.
