need statistics link

. I'm debating once again on a site that is full of people who think my DS is the only 14 in the country that isn't cut. I told them that the statistics are now near 40% intact in hte US (and higher in some states) but they say I'm making it all up.

Please point me to the info again. I know some here gave me the link but I am search challenged today

Seriously, though, I'm no help at links, but someone will give you the one with the stats you're looking for. You are correct about the national average being being bout 40% intact. There's a link with a breakdown of geographical areas, I know someone will have it here by tomorrow, God bless them!

Gee, if these folks are so concerned about their sons looking like everyone else, what if their sons grow up and move to Europe?

Sharon, this link is unlikely to be contested because it comes from the CDC and not from an anti circ website. It's important to note that these numbers were derived at hospitals so the homebirth stats are not included.

Thank you for the CDC link. You know if I remember correctly the link I had before was at noncir or some other organization that they said they wouldn't believe a word of. I just wish the CDC info was more current. I think the last chart I saw before had the rate at just over 40% in 2000 or 2001. With the CDC chart averaged out it come to 38.1 are still intact. Yes me being off by 1.9% will be a big deal to some of them
