OK, ladies, I need your best extended breast feeding quotes and stats for a nurse-in on Saturday. 

I was informed that I may not continue to attend swim lessons with my son (2 1/2 yo) unless I refuse to nurse him during the class (their reasoning started with me not being allowed to - yes, I am by Alaska statute - to the ever wonderful "this is a family space" -because clearly breastfeeding and children should be in separate areas - to the idea that it interrupts the class - because the 2 yr old who had to pee 3 times during class, the 2 yr old who jumps in the water when he's not 'supposed' to and the 2 yr old running to mommy are getting very disturbed by me nursing - c'mon guys, these are 2 yr olds playing in the water.) Anyway, I live in a very breastfeeding friendly community and will likely have media at the nurse in and I want to have the best extended breastfeeding info I can to do my best education attempt.

Did you contact LLL?  I think they usually provide hand outs for nurse ins.  Perhaps they have some info for you?
