Can I be put in Waiting to be Ready? I'm assuming that's for mamas who aren't currently TTC, but will be soon?

I posted this on the Feb thread, just realized it's March! redface.gif

joy.gif It's true - we're expecting a November babe!!! joy.gif

Best of luck to Wendylynn & Xerxella, I hope to see you both in the Nov ddc!

I'll be checking in periodically to keep up with you all. Kami, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you. I am optimistic that the sono and/or the clomid challenge will bring great things! KUP!!!

Thanks so much for this great thread, the support and commiserating has meant a lot in this journey. Sending lots of dust.gif to you all!

I would like to be put in the trying to catch the first egg column! My dd is 25 months and I have still never had AF, I've been charting since August hoping to see a clear O, but every time I seem to get close there's no thermal shift. I really don't know what to do. My mom nursed me and my 2 brothers at 13, 16, and 18 months respectively and never got AF back until completely weaning any of us. I really don't want to wean DD but I also would really like to get pregnant sometime this year so I don't have a huge space between her and her next sibling. I have been considering night weaning, but I don't know if it is likely enough to work (at bringing back my cycles) to be worth it. Well, good luck to the rest of you, and let me know if you have any words of advice!

Congratulations Xerxella and Peaches' Mom, way to end February with a bang. Hopefully we keep the momentum going into March!

Sorry about the negative test Ava's Mom, hopefully you O'd a few days later and it's just a bit too early for a BFP.

I have read over Dr. Jay's nightweaning protocol and I'm definitely going to start with an 8 hour chunk of time from 11pm-7am when we don't nurse, I was able to do that last night, and he only really woke up once and got angry that he couldn't nurse, so I think I'll try that time for this week and see how he's doing, if it's not working I'll probably pick up the no cry sleep solution. The good thing is he's old enough he understands what I'm saying about needing to sleep and we'll nurse in the morning, it's just that at night time he doesn't really want to hear it. Thanks for the tips! Fingers crossed for all those testing this week!

Thanks MamatoD.  I guess I will test again on Wednesday if I don't get AF tomorrow.  Good luck with the nightweaning.  My DD amazingly night weaned (slept through the night) on her own in November.  But in January, after a month of Mama and baby being sick, traveling, etc that stopped.  I brought her to her homeopath yesterday in hopes of getting her back on track!

SoCali!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That is so awesome!!!!!  Praying for sticky, sticky baby!!

AFM-NOTHING! NOTHING! NOTHING!  ha!  I feel like a barren wilderness...a dried up tundra...  My nursling will be 13 months this week.  Last baby, I got my ppaf at 13.5 months, which I believe is painfully average :P  So maybe this month...maybe this month..

I have my first OBGYN visit this month too.  I think I may talk to her about progesterone, assuming I will have the LP defect I had last time..

SoCali---I see some pink there, please keep us updated!

Yipee!!!  Peaches'Mom and  Xerxella !!

AimeeBaby--I'm in the same boat as DS is about 25 months and still BF.  Yesterday my Endo. told me I need to wean him to get rid of my hypothyroid symptoms and lack of AF (that's for another thread!).  We're sticking with our approach, in the meantime. :)

MamatoD--sweet dreams:)

Ava's Mama--I hope all goes well getting back into your routine.

AFM--I finally had EWCM yesterday and a good CP, but when I took the OPK (W) a line appeared but not as dark as the control.  I've got that alot (or no line at all), so I am assuming it's just theevap??  Anyway, feeling a bit discouraged but not giving up!

Congrats SoCaliMommy!

I just tested again and it was negative.  But I looked at my chart from when TTC DD and I was 4 or 5 days late when I finally tested positive.  I am only one day late, so that is a few days away.

I got my first ppaf when my DD turned 13 months (less a day) too. I hope it returns "on schedule" for you!

Congratulations!! Happy & healthy 9 months to you!

Afm: I'm on cd 33. I think I o'd on cd25 because I had tons of ewcm and then it dried up. I'm still not temping because DD wakes so often. My cycles were usually around 32 days pre pregnancy and I was hoping I would luck out and they would come back the same. So far that hasn't been the case. I got a req. for day 3 blood test from my gp and I've started acupuncture...let's get on with the show body!!

Has anyone had af come back and not O for a few cycles? Or had af once and then it disappears again?

Just wanted to share that AF is here!! af.gif I am so happy...and sooooo crampy!  I couldn't believe it when I went in the bathroom, but yes, my first PPAF has arrived and I am relieved, ahhh...honestly can't believe it! faint.gif

BTW, DS is close to 25 months now.

sraplayas ~ Congrats on getting your first pp af.

Yeah SoCali!! So happy for you!

I'm waiting to ovulate, which is way easier than the 2ww, but I'm already anxious for that.

AimeeBaby, nightweaning worked for us at 15 months when nothing else seemed to.  Good luck!

Hello gals! Not sure which heading I would be under. If I got preg this month ds2 would only be 2 years ... I'm not sure I'm ready but I'm trying anyway. We'll just see what happens! AF has been a little crazy since returning 9 months PP with anything from a 41 day cycle to 31 and I'm normally a spot on 28 days kinda girl.

Oh well I guess I'll let baby decide when it's time! Lol
post #20 of 187

Hi again.  My AF is 2-3 days late here.  I tested on Tuesday and Wednesday.  How long should I wait to test again!?!
