BTW, DS is close to 25 months now.

Okay, so I woke up this morning and nothing--Nada--after thinking that AF was here I think it must be just spotting after all!  In addition to being embarassed for my hasty post, I am wondering how this gets charted.  Indeed, even with all of the hormonal-shift symptoms, etc. and what seemed like the beginning of AF, it was just spotting.  Does this sound right?

If this is the case, please put me back to waiting for first PPAF:(

Thanks!

if 2 tests come up neg i wait a week and test again. It's so tempting to just test over and over again but it just makes me nervous and excited...and then let down.

not to mention tests from the store are so expensive!

Buy the ones at Dollar Tree. Only a dollar and just as accurate. (source: peeonastick.com)

Thanks!  I am now three days late, I plan on testing again on Tuesday if I don't get my period.  It is going to be tough not to test, but no sense being wasteful.  Although I do know I tested positive with my DD at 4 or 5 days late.

hi ya'll ....

i'd like to join!  (i'm pretty new to this, so can someone help with telling me how?)

DS is almost 8 m/o and AF is no where in sight.  not trying to rush anything, but would like to TTC soon.  like i said, i'm new to this, so any info will be MUCH appreciated.  is there anything that i can do to increase my chances of ovulating?  DS nurses about 4/day and STTN (so no night nursing).

SUCH A RELIEF TO KNOW I'M NOT ALONE!!

*and a big thank you to sraplayas for the invite* ROTFLMAO.gif

I haven't been on for a while but I need to say Congrats to Socali on your BFP. I've got my fingers crossed it's super sticky. Have you had another beta done?  How fun to tell your DH on his birthday!

I think when I had my ppaf I did have some funky spotting issues for a week or so before. Like I thought it started, but it was just spotting twice, and then I finally started and had a crazy heavy af. As far as I know it's kind of anything goes for that first one and it can be kind of wonky for a few months after that. I hope you get some clarity soon!

It's really hard to be patient. I just bought 25 wandfo IC's on Amazon.com for $5.44, I'm actually really happy with them, no evaps, no weird streaky lines, just stark white BFNs for me thus far though. If you sign up for amazon mom (it's free) you get 3 months of 2 day shipping for free.

AFM: I'm feeling like I have really bad PMS, but still no AF. I haven't bothered to test again, because I'm not at all hopeful the lack of AF is pregnancy related, just a funky cycle. I guess if it doesn't start over the weekend I'll take another test on monday, since I have 23 of them sitting in my bathroom waiting to be peed on.  Also, I feel like night weaning is going really well (knock on wood). We've done 4 nights, 2 of them he woke up for 5-10 minutes, one night he woke up for an hour and a half from 3-4:30 (that was a bit rough), and then finally last night he slept for 10 hours straight and he didn't ask for milk until the sun came up, just like we talked about! It was awesome, I'm hoping we can turn that into a trend, because it's the first time I've slept through the night in almost 2 years!  Welcome to all the new mama's, good luck on your TTC journeys!

has anyone ever heard that actually starting the mini-pill can help AF return???  ive recently read some info saying that it helps with hormone fluctuations and is encouraged once your LO reaches the 6 month mark.

I haveb't visited in a while because I'm on CD70s *shrug* but I had to congratulate all your prego women espcually SoCaliMommy!!! I'm so excited for you and hope for a sticky bean!!AFM: I have lots of Watery/EWCM and my cervix and open/soft. I hope that this is SOMETHING. It's been over 2 months since my first PPAF and nothing to show for it in ovulating or AF...

Hello mamas.
I enjoy reading this thread every day!

I am on CD13 and after BD tonight, hubby said something about looking back on the calendar and knowing that today was the day we made a baby. wink1.gif
I don't think I will ovulate for a few days and told him that, but I guess his "swimmers" can stick around for a few days and catch that egg. wink1.gif If we do have another baby soon, I have a feeling it will be a girl, so that would work for strong girl sperm living for 4-5 days waiting for my egg, right? wink1.gif We have three girls and one boy now.

This is a big deal for us. He is very open to a new life and I am excited! It seems like he actually WANTS this new baby instead of just going along with what I want this time. I have wanted and tried for each of our last babies, but told DH to take over the "control" (along with God, of course...) of our fertility from now on. I cannot be in control of this. I will obsess, get anxious, and not enjoy it, KWIM!?

Anyway, we'll see how the next week goes, then on to my 2WW. smile.gif

Hey! I'm really not sure what's up with my body, but FF took away their dotted red lines and maybe I didn't O when I thought. Oh well. DH and I had fun!  loveeyes.gif

After my last two kids, as soon as I had that first PPAF, I started Oing again, both after 15 months. So IDK. I guess I keep charting and waiting!

Also, we're going to work on night weaning now because with teething and all-night nursing, my nipples are SORE!

Hi everyone!  I'd like to be added to the waiting for O list, please smile.gif

I've always had long and irregular cycles...except for about a year pre-DS, where I had "perfect" 28-day cycles.  So hopefully the BF-ing, and even longer and more irregular cycles will not hinder our attempts at #2.  As of today, I am on CD 102....SERIOUSLY! (my avg is 51 days) We've just started TTC (last Sunday) and I've just started temping/charting again, so hopefully I see O or AF soon!

I'm new to these boards (my sister is on my normal boards, and we're not telling anyone about us TTC), so I'm not sure what the atmosphere is like as far a extended BF-ing goes.  My son turned 3 in Jan, and still nurses before bed. love.gif

I hope to make some great friends on here, GOOD LUCK everyone!!
