Does anyone have some good fermentation recipes?

Hi everyone, I recently made my first batch of sauerkraut and it came out pretty decent to my pleasant surprise! I used green cabbage, himalayan salt, and juniper berries. I was wondering if anyone is experienced with fermentation crock pots and what foods you make with them. I was thinking of trying something with carrots next, but I would really love to hear about any great recipes I can try.

Have you seen THE thread?  I love this thread, it really got me fermenting.

Yay! I see it really is THE fermenting thread - I have over 300 posts to read through! Thanks a lot tanyalynn! I'm looking forward to getting a little more creative than just cabbage.

I found this article called "The Magical Power of Fermented Foods"     a while back and just revisited it again recently, it's helpful to refresh my memory now and then. Very interesting!

I recently branched out from sauerkraut (which is all we've really liked so far) and made these http://www.thenourishinggourmet.com/2010/08/lacto-fermented-dilly-carrot-sticks.html  and my family fought over them.  Very easy to make too!

So simple and yet so perfect - I will definitely be making those! That looks like a great site too.
