What books should I read?

I"m sure that there is a great list around here somewhere, but I can't find it.   What books should I be reading?  DD is almost 17 months, so I'd like something that is applicable now, but just general parenting, no out-of-the-ordinary issues.

TIA!

Do you want something that is all encompassing with developmental stages, parenting, discipline, etc?

One book I really like is The No-Cry Discipline Solution - it has great advice on ways to talk respectfully to your child and encourage self-discipline. Its precursor was "Kid Cooperation" which you can probably find very cheaply at a second-hand store - I'm not sure the newer version really adds much TBH.

I love love love Playful Parenting.

Also have to recommend Protecting the Gift by Gavin deBecker.  It is not necessarily a parenting book, but a book that I think all parents should read!
