trying at home insemination for the second time next week...

Hi everyone, I am new to this site and I am so glad i found it! My DP and I have been together for 3 years now and started trying to concieve last month. Our friend and donor was only able to donate one time, the day after I had my LH surge, so I thought that would be the day I ovulated and we were really hopeful but turns out I am not pregnant and i should ovulate sometime next week but the days i ovulate seem to vary 2 days or so and I hear that it is best to do the insemination early rather than late since the sperm can live up to 5 days. I am nervous that our donor wont be able to make it in time or something this time. I was hoping you guys might have some advice for us if you have been in this situation, how long did it take to concieve?

Also, does anyone on here have endometriosis? I am not sure if i do but it runs in my family and I am scared that I have it to, I am going to the doctor next Tuesday so I guess we'll see.

I can't really offer you much on the subject of endometriosis, but I would highly suggest checking out the monthly thread for Queer Conceptions.  Introduce yourself in March and ask away!  The ladies there would be more than happy to help and advise and commiserate with you.
