Do I let my 3year old go with Dad far away to work for 2weeks?

Both mine and my husband's work is temporarily on hold, and my husband is exhausting every thread of opportunity. He contacted a retreat center nearby and they were very eager to hire him, but at a two week minimum. He offered to take our son. The caveat is that within that two week time period, I am peacefully moving out of our house and into my own home. My husband and I are peacefully separating.

Does anyone have any advice for the impact on my son to be away from me for two weeks?

I was hoping to do all of my moving out of sight of my son, and only bring him to the new house gradually and occaisionally for a transition period of a couple months.

My husband and son being gone for two weeks is an opportunity for me to really replant my entire life, but I'm very concerned about the impact of my son and I not seeing each other right before a large, though slow transition.

Thank you so much for any thoughts and advice you can share!!

If your instincts are to be concerned I would listen to them.  I personally wouldn't do it.
