Miquon Math Users: 1 set of rods enough for teaching 2 kids?

So I think I've settled on using Miquon with my twins starting in the fall. They will do "math" at the same time and we will explore each lesson/lab together but they will each have their own book and I would like them to be able to work independently and explore on their own as well...will one set of Cuisenaire rods be enough or should they each have their own? TIA!!!

I think you need 2 sets.

But not so that they each have their own so much as when you get up there in the math, you start to need two.

Agree with Lisa, the double set (~174 rods) is nice to have even for one kid once you're into the Blue/Green levels. And a double set would be fine for two kids to share I think.
