Does anyone have it or know anything about it? We might have to buy it for our family but I have no idea where to start. Thanks! joy.gif

We got ours from ehealthinsurance.com.

We have Blue Cross Blue Sheild. Before that we had Kaiser HMO. Both were/are in the $500-$800/mo. range for a healthy family of four. We tried a policy w/ the Nat'l Self Employed group (or some such) and it was garbage. Of all of them BCBS has been the best.

I also have Blue Cross Blue Shield, but the family cost (family of 4) is 3200/month!!! Isn't that crazy how it is varies by state. I have compared prices with other companies and they cost more.

I don't have the regular family plan - who can afford that...who wants to pay that????  My kids are on a the state chp plan through BlueCross and I dropped private insurance (1300 / mth for one) to catastrophic (650).

See if your state offers subsidized health plans for your kids, or even for your family (google "subsidized health care --your state"). In New York its called Child Health Plus & Family Health plan. The NY state plan cost is based on a sliding scale.
