Because pregnancy is a disease and those poor brown people over there scare us with all their reproduction....

I wonder how many of them are giving informed consent.  I have had the misfortune to know some people who were less than honest with women about Depo provera, taking the position that the women were too poor and uneducated to explain it well, and besides, it would be no great loss to humanity if a poor multipara ended up with permanent infertility or some other issue as a result, she doesn't need any more babies anyway.

Fine print says it is reversible and it was tested in Sweden and Finland... hardly the places for your brown people.
