Ok, so those two topics are very different but I didn't want to post twice. :)

1) What's the latest on plane rides and breastfeeding. My baby will be about 15 months old when we fly in May (if all goes well) - from Maryland to Seattle and then from Seattle to Korea. About two days in a plane. I have no control over the flights - they will probably be back to back and whatever is cheapest for the military. There is no way my very needy baby will take a sippy and not want my actual breast during that time. Any advice from someone who has recently flown? I haven't flown in years and am a little worried about someone freaking out because this is already a potential nightmare.

2) So I went in to the dr and told her I needed birth control. She prescribed the nuvaring. Then I'm reading about it causing jaundice and breast enlargement in babies - not good. I am against birth control in general and was using charting / diaphragm for two years before we had DD but my period still hasn't come back and I'm getting a little worried and wanted a foolproof - no oops method. However, after reading, I think I'm going to leave that nuvaring in the box and not use it. Getting pregnant would be preferable to hurting my baby's liver. I know DH should just use a condom but he won't. And I have no idea how to chart while breastfeeding with no periods (I'm sure that's been covered here but I don't have time to search). For the record, DD still nurses about 6x a day, if not more and between 4-6 times a night.
