Help me talk to my friend

She is pregnant with her second and it's a boy. We were talking last night (she was asking my advice etc on natural birthing) and the topic of circumcision came up. She isn't sure what to do and her husband will go with it either way, from what I gathered during our talk.

She didn't outrightly ask for advice but she isn't set on the issue. I don't want to bombard her with info, and I want her to completely make the decision on her own, but I would like to give her something before she gets info from other pro circers and the like.

Thanks so much!

Thanks for the link. She was very nice about it and said they probably won't circumcise but left it off as being a personal decision.

My approach with my friends.

I have a few links I wanted to share with you about our talk yesterday. When I researched circumcision what interested and surprised me the most was the foreskins purpose.

I think it important to be fully informed and wanted to share what I was so surprised to discover.

Personally I feel like once my friends know what the foreskin is for and what it does they can make an informed decision. I don't want to tell them what to do and I don't feel its my place to tell them my opinion unless they ask. However, my opinion is just that another opinion and unless my friend know what the foreskin is they cant accurately evaluate my opinion anyways.

I also find this link great! http://www.drmomma.org/2010/04/circumcision-already-illegal.html
