Pheasant Recipes?

I haven't had pheasant since I was a kid but, as fate would have it, I will have some in my home tomorrow.  All the recipes I have found on-line look hideous (to be frank, I'm a bit of a wholefood snob and can't fathom putting onion powder all over something as wonderful as a pheasant).  Does anyone on here have any more natural recipes that may be tasty?  Please share!

My favorite thing from the family (12 grand children plus adults all with guns if you can imagine no one got shot ever) hunting trips was pheasant stew...Simple only fresh whole ingredients made with stock from the pheasants.

It is involved though, we always roasted the pheasants with just a little salt and pepper then made the stock then just did your stew basics, potatoes, carrots, peas, onion, celery, garlic, stock and any other veggies you want to add...It still makes my mouth water and tastes like heaven. Sooo much better than chicken soup or beef stew..

I am so jealous, pheasant is one of my favorites!
