My dd's insurance denied genetic testing for Fragile X for my dd. She is on state aid btw. The test her specialized pediatrician ordered was about $2000. I just maxed out my credit card for a 2k helmet which they should have paid for also but didn't and I really need to know WHY she is autistic. This affects our lives greatly. Like future planning and if all future children would be autistic.

Does anyone know what I can write to get them to accept it or have a website that has ideas? She was denied as it didn't change treatment was their reasoning.
