Has anyone used the "femara cares program" to get femera for $10?

I am set to take femara this upcoming cycle.  It is pretty expensive, but on the website, I found this ...

A coupon for 30 day supply for $10.  If you could get your RE to prescribe it one way on the bottle and one way directly to you..

Has anyone done this?

My femara was covered by insurance.  I paid a regular $30 co pay for it, 5 pills.  I never considered other options, mostly because I was in a time crunch.

My insurance covers infertility DIAGNOSIS, but not treatment... They wouldn't pay/subsidize clomid, but they do progesterone.... hmmm

Yeah, mine doesn't cover diagnosis or treatment either.  But, I have "recurrent miscarriage" not "infertility" and also, there's no ICD-9 code on prescriptions, so they fly under the radar usually. 

The femara wasn't the expensive part, tho.  I mean, it's not cheap, but it's not injectables or IVF medication. 

I've got my femara fetus in my womb right now, so I'm a fan, of course. 

Clomid got me two pregnancies, but no babies.

Hi Jenger!  I used this coupon for this month's supply with no problems, even with only a 10 pill prescription with directions "Take 2 pills on days 3 through 7 of your cycle."  Insurance covered it, but the copay would have been $50, so $10 was great!  I hope it works for you too!!

And I will update when I get them - cd1 is probably tomorrow, if the progesterone wears off in time...

Just wanted to update - It worked, regardless of the fact is was 10 2.5mg pills with directions to take it days 5-9!  The pharmacist says that it would have been a $200 copay... A little silver lining...

My gyn wrote me the script for a full 30 day supply.  I was able to get 3 months worth for $10 : )   Since we're using donor sperm, every dollar saved is greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU so much for posting this! I would never have found out about it otherwise. My insurance would have paid $0 toward it, but instead I got my $10 Femara today!
